Pererin wyf yn teithio

(Y pererin ar ben ei daith)
Pererin wyf yn teithio
  Tua thragwyddoldeb mawr:
Yn iach bleserau bydol,
A'r hawddfyd sy ar y llawr:
Dyeithr ydwyf yma,
  Draw mae fy nghartref clyd,
A barotodd fy Mhriod
  Yn mhell cyn seilio'r byd.

Fe genir, ac fe genir
  Yn nhragwyddoldeb maith,
Os gwelir un pererin
Mor lesg ar ben ei daith,
A gurwyd mewn tymhestloedd,
  A olchwyd yn y gwaed,
A ganwyd ac a gadwyd,
  Trwy'r iachawdwriaeth rad.

Tonau [7676D]: Llydaw (alaw Lydewig)

gwelir:
  Os dof i trwy'r anialwch
  Os gwelir fi bechadur

(The pilgrim at his journey's end)
I pilgrim am I travelling
  Towards a great eternity:
Farewell ye earthly pleasures,
And the happiness on earth below:
A stranger am I here,
  Yonder is my secure home,
Which my Spouse prepared
Long before the founding of the world.

It is to be sung, to be sung
  In a vast eternity,
If one pilgrim is seen
So feeble at his journey's end,
Who was beaten in tempests,
  And washed in the blood,
And born and kept
  Through the free salvation.
